Lauren came via a glowing recommendation from a friend and she truly lived up to it! She was able to visit the house before we scheduled anything so she could meet our dogs and we could talk to her about each dogs personality and special needs. Upon first visit the dogs really took to her and it was obvious she cared a lot about animals. I have really high expectations when it comes to communication and Lauren's communication is exceptional. She's so responsive to questions and requests, and when she visits the dogs I get a full report on who pottied, peed, drank, ate. She sends lots of pics and it makes me feel so good knowing my pups are getting some extra love while I'm out. She's truly a wonderful, professional dog sitter!

You can trust Lauren with your furbabies. When we first moved to Austin two years ago, we had two senior dogs and she has always taken great care of them. When we added a third dog, a scaredy-cat dachshund, he immediately took to her. Lauren takes the pups for nice long walks, gives good advice when we are having issues with them, and has always been able to dog-sit when we need to be out of town.

We LOVE Lauren! She is so responsive and sends updates and pictures. She takes wonderful care of our border collie, KD, and pays careful attention of her special needs. I can tell KD has had plenty of exercise and felt lots of love when we return home. I highly recommend Lauren and The Sporty Dog.

Although she typically does dogs, Lauren has taken fantastic care of my cat when I am traveling. She always texts me updates with photos, and when I come home my cat is noticeably happier and more relaxed than if I leave him alone for even a day. Can't recommend her highly enough. I'm so grateful for The Sporty Dog! I've had trouble finding someone to handle my spunky pitbulll, Bear. He's a handful sometimes, but these daily walks have saved me! So grateful we found Lauren! I was referred to Lauren via a very credible dog boarding business when they were all booked up and couldn't take our dog for the weekend. I had never boarded our pup before and I was very nervous to leave him. Lauren was amazing and made me feel comfortable from the first day I met her. We had an evaluation day to make sure that my pup got along with her two adorable dogs. Our dog loved her dogs and had so much fun playing with them. We got an email with photos from Lauren every evening we were gone. Toby looked so happy and comfortable in all of the photos. Lauren treated our Toby like he was her own. So happy I found Lauren and will definitely use her again to watch our guy when we are out of town.

Lauren is an angel! We were looking for someone to handle our dog during our wedding and came across The Sporty Dog. While there are several different services in Austin, some of them were going to cost more than our cake, for a single hour of help! Lauren's price were fair, competitive, and SO worth it! She was so easy to work with, and was happy to accommodate our Covid-cancelled wedding date, and reschedule us without an issue!
She arrived promptly on time, and snuck in without a peep. She was dressed perfectly, and got right to playing with our pup, and making sure he was entertained. She was right there within arms reach during all of the pictures, and was happy to make silly sounds at him in front of all of guests, to get the perfect picture! When he photobombed a family portrait by sprawling out across my train she was right there, getting all of the candid photos and whisking him away with distractions of snacks once everyone got a good laugh. When it came time for the ceremony, she quickly made sure he got a potty break, cleaned up after him and fluffed him back out to perfection.
She felt like a member of the wedding party to us, and we could not be more grateful or appreciative. She was happy to deliver him home, and locked up for us, and checked in to let us know everything was set. I HIGHLY recommend her for anything you need for your pups!!

Lauren was wonderful! I booked my dog for boarding and then a few days before her stay began, the ice storm hit. I was heading out of town for work and was in a jam. Lauren still took her in despite her power not being restored. Great first experience for those wanting something more ~boutique~ than kennel boarding!

Everyone at The Sporty Dog has been an absolute lifesaver for my two very energetic huskies and I! Without plenty of exercise and attention, my dogs can be a bit destructive at home. Since working with our friends at The Sporty Dog, I feel confident that I can leave them home alone while working long shifts. They have somehow even managed to make a friend out of my youngest dog who is highly anxious around strangers. They have been so flexible and accommodating to my wildly inconsistent schedule. Highly highly recommend!

I was in town for work and needed a trustworthy dog walker for my 10 month old Shih tzu while I was at work and Lauren and Kendall were absolutely incredible. I was of course nervous to leave my dog with someone since I was not a local, but Lauren made me feel reassured and very comfortable! My dog had a great time and I truly felt so at ease knowing my pup was in good hands! I got updates after each walk with pictures and a GPS of the route they walked and would highly recommend their service! We'll certainly be using them again next time we're in town! =)

I recently got married in Austin and needed a pet sitter to bring him to the wedding and watch him, before taking him back to his boarding facility. I'm so glad I found The Sporty Dog! They met with me beforehand at my hotel to meet my dog which gave me comfort that I was in good hands. On the wedding day, they were very professional and sent pictures throughout the day to keep us informed on how he was doing!

Lauren is fantastic! She is always super professional, extremely caring with our golden retriever (since he was a puppy), accommodating with our crazy schedules and has been a saving grace to stay overnight to look after our dog on countless occasions. Lauren is such an amazing woman and our dog loves her so much! He is a very shy pup and was not a great fit at other daycares. During trials at other daycares, he was often fearful but he warmed up to Lauren, Birdie, and Emmitt right away! He looks forward to going to daycare and it feels so good knowing that he is well cared for while we are at work. Also, Lauren provided a clear summary of their day together as well as some photos which are always appreciated! Your pup will be in great hands with Lauren and her pups!
