Lauren is an angel! We were looking for someone to handle our dog during our wedding and came across The Sporty Dog. While there are several different services in Austin, some of them were going to cost more than our cake, for a single hour of help! Lauren's price were fair, competitive, and SO worth it! She was so easy to work with, and was happy to accommodate our Covid-cancelled wedding date, and reschedule us without an issue!
She arrived promptly on time, and snuck in without a peep. She was dressed perfectly, and got right to playing with our pup, and making sure he was entertained. She was right there within arms reach during all of the pictures, and was happy to make silly sounds at him in front of all of guests, to get the perfect picture! When he photobombed a family portrait by sprawling out across my train she was right there, getting all of the candid photos and whisking him away with distractions of snacks once everyone got a good laugh. When it came time for the ceremony, she quickly made sure he got a potty break, cleaned up after him and fluffed him back out to perfection.
She felt like a member of the wedding party to us, and we could not be more grateful or appreciative. She was happy to deliver him home, and locked up for us, and checked in to let us know everything was set. I HIGHLY recommend her for anything you need for your pups!!

I recently got married in Austin and needed a pet sitter to bring him to the wedding and watch him, before taking him back to his boarding facility. I'm so glad I found The Sporty Dog! They met with me beforehand at my hotel to meet my dog which gave me comfort that I was in good hands. On the wedding day, they were very professional and sent pictures throughout the day to keep us informed on how he was doing!
